Some commonly asked questions that you might find helpful when looking to book with us.

When should I book onto an antenatal and birthing course?
We recommend booking your course from 24 weeks pregnant, to give you enough time to prepare and gain the knowledge to empower your birth, whilst not too soon that you forget some details.

How many couples will be in attendance?
We normally have no more than 10 couples max, of similar gestation in the hope that you will be able to form lifelong friendships with each other, as we realize how important forming local social connections are when venturing into the new world of parenthood.

What happens if I miss an evening session due to illness?
If given adequate notice, we will offer one class credit per course, so you will have the opportunity to join the next course so you can catch up on the content missed. Only one credit will be issued and is at the discretion of the educators.

How and when do I pay?
You can easily book and pay online via the tab above. All payments must be received 7 days before the commencement of the first course date.
Should your course be cancelled by us for any reason, a full refund will be offered.

Do I have to engage with the activities?
This course is your experience, so whilst we actively encourage you to engage to get the most out of your experience, this is not compulsory. So if you would prefer to be an observer, then this if also fine. However I am sure with our welcoming and warm personalities, you will become more familiar with us and your fellow attendee's and you'll enjoy being an active member of the group.

Due to insurance restrictions we regret we can not offer personalised advice on your current pregnancy, we will of course direct you appropriately to your local maternity hospital with any concerns.

With receipt of your payment, you agree and accept that we may use your photograph for future marketing purposes.

Refunds will be issued at the discretion of us, unless the course is cancelled by ourselves, in which case a full refund will be issued.

We will ensure that information is accurate and correct at the time of presenting, the nature of maternity means information and evidence changes frequently.

Your personal information will be held securely for a period of time following your course, then will be safely removed to ensure your privacy is maintained- we will not sell, distribute or lease your personal details to any 3rd party.

Birthtalks will set up a course "Whats App" group for you if you are booked onto the evening classes, to communicate with other members on your course- if you do not wish to be included in this, please make us aware before the start of your course.

Reunion meetings (evening class only) will be once all babies have been born from your course at a local venue (TBA) We will contact you with time, date and venue as soon as possible.

We will work within all government guidelines in accordance with Covid 19- changes may occur at short notice but we will communicate with you as soon as we know.

If we do not have adequate numbers to run the course, you will be offered the next available course or a full refund.

For the one day intensive course- please advise of any dietary requirements at booking (or at least 7 days prior to course start date)
